Not rain or Police or even irate neighbors could put a damper on the festivities at Chambo’s Annual Oktoberfest celebration this past weekend. In usual fashion, the 150+ party goers did yet once again gather to eat drink and partake in the yearly antics of this unparalleled event featuring The Wisenheimers playing an unprecedented 75 song mega show, including a 2 1/2 hour nonstop marathon 3rd set! We have performed at this event for the past 7 years and although there were no over enthusiastic fans performing gymnastics wearing workboots (ie; doing cartwheels into the band member’s faces and equipment as in past years,) the crowd was still ultra rowdy and the Band rocked solid until 1am with no Police presence or interruptions – not bad for 120 decibals outside in a congested Bergen County suburban neighborhood!
